1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy applies to the Catalina Token mobile application (the “App”) and catalinatoken.com (the “Website”), operated by the Catalina Token project (“Catalina”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). The App is a non-custodial interface for viewing public BNB Smart Chain data and connecting a wallet chosen by the user. It does not create or hold a custodial account for you.
2. Information processed
Wallet and blockchain information
When you choose to connect a wallet, the App processes your public wallet address, selected chain, wallet provider name, and publicly available BNB and CATALINA balances. This information is used only to establish the requested wallet session and show on-chain information in the App. Wallet addresses and blockchain activity are public by design and may be visible permanently on BNB Smart Chain.
Catalina never requests, receives, or stores your private key, seed phrase, wallet password, or recovery phrase. Transaction and wallet requests must be approved in your own wallet application.
Connection and technical information
The App uses Reown AppKit and the WalletConnect protocol. These services and participating wallets may process technical connection information such as IP address, device and SDK information, session identifiers, relay messages, and wallet interaction metadata in order to establish and protect a connection. Email and social-login features are not enabled in the App.
Website preferences and server logs
The Website stores only your language preference in your browser’s local storage. The Website does not use advertising or behavioral analytics cookies. Hosting, network-security, and font providers may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and requested URL for delivery, reliability, and abuse prevention.
3. How information is used
- To connect the wallet you explicitly select.
- To retrieve and display public balances and blockchain data.
- To send wallet requests that you can approve or reject.
- To remember your Website language preference.
- To maintain security, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse.
We do not sell personal information, serve targeted advertising, or use wallet information to build advertising profiles.
4. Third-party services
Information may be processed by third parties only when needed for a feature you use, including Reown/WalletConnect, your selected wallet, BNB Smart Chain RPC infrastructure, and Website hosting or font providers. If you open BscScan, PancakeSwap, PinkSale, or another external service, that service’s own privacy policy applies. Their practices are outside Catalina’s control.
5. Storage, retention, and deletion
Catalina does not maintain an account database or store connected wallet addresses on a Catalina-operated application server. Current wallet information is held in the App while needed to provide the requested screen. Reown, your wallet, RPC providers, hosting providers, and public blockchains may retain information under their own policies and legal obligations.
You can end a wallet session from the App or your wallet, revoke the connection in your wallet, clear the Website’s local storage, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App. Public blockchain records are immutable and cannot be changed or deleted by Catalina.
6. Your choices and rights
Wallet connection is optional. You may use informational parts of the App without connecting a wallet. Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, restriction, or deletion of personal information. Because Catalina does not operate a user-account database, we may have no server-side personal record to locate or delete. Privacy requests can be made using the developer contact information shown on the Catalina Token App Store product page.
7. Children
The App and Website are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security and international processing
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to a non-custodial interface. No internet or blockchain system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Third-party infrastructure may process data in countries other than your own, subject to that provider’s safeguards and applicable law.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the App, Website, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated. For privacy questions or requests, use the developer contact information on the Catalina Token App Store product page and include “Privacy” in your request.
